2nd example:
we normally close at 10pm and most of us clock out at 1030. tonite though, we left close to 1120 because of this massive sale. lady comes in to buy a computer for her business. she leaves with 8 computers for her business, antivirus/spyware programs for them, a crapload of services done by the Geek Squad, in-office wireless networking for them all in the office, and a big screen 45' hdtv and a washer/dryer combo for her house. oh yeah, she also got 1 of those fridges that has a tv in em for her husband. to give u an idea of the total cost, here's some figures. each pc package was about $1000 after rebates (prolly 1300 out the door). each antivirus/spyware package (our "Iron Clad") is 118 after tax. in-office networking is 159 for 2 pcs, with 59 extra per pcs after 2. the hdtv was about 2500-3000. i forgot the price on the washer/dryer and the fridge, but u can be sure that those put together were about 4000. i'm not even gonna mention the 3 carts of accessories that she bought with everything. can you say "loaded"??? the best thing about it was it was started by me. at the end of it all, once everything got loaded up and the big stuff was set for delivery in the next 2 days, we were soooooooo freaking tired. and, of course, happy =). just one of those times when i wished we were on commission...
